The GEL-NYC GS (Grade School) sneaker draws inspiration from traditional and modern high-performance running models.
The upper construction recalls the GEL-NIMBUS 3 model from the early 2000s and combines several decorative accents inspired by the GEL-MC PLUS V.
The construction design was also influenced by ISS analysis and was developed with greater forefoot flexibility and midfoot stability to support children's growing feet. The design is inspired by ASICS heritage models and combines the flowing lines and serrated edges of the 2000s and 2010s.
