The original inspiration for the GEL-SD LYTE was an egg. Featuring a shell and an internal membrane, it embodies the primary design goal of protecting the foot from the outside environment.
The midsole and upper shape of the shoe are based on the shell concept. This shape was initially designed to provide cushioning and a snug fit.
The innovative construction system has been updated with FLYTEFOAM PROPEL cushioning. This material helps increase comfort and provide a feeling of greater energy underfoot.
