LACK OF GUIDANCE 2 X DIADORA MYTHOS

"Lack of Guidance and Diadora are coming together for a second round. After working on the Mythos 280 earlier

this year, both brands felt there was more to uncover. The Lack of Guidance team travelled to Treviso,

Italy—Diadora’s birthplace—to dig through the archive and shape the next chapter. The result is a capsule

collection that brings footwear and apparel under one story.

Where the first shoe directly referenced the Italian flag, this release takes a different route. The new garments

and footwear lean into a quieter sense of Italian class, built around a toned-down palette of dark grey, taupe,

black, and brown suede.

Tracksuits have long been central to football culture—functional on the pitch, expressive off it. The track top in

this collection nods to a Diadora archival jacket often worn by Lack of Guidance founder Akaar Amin. It now

forms the centrepiece of the apparel offering, paired with matching bottoms.

Lack of Guidance has always reworked graphics rooted in football’s visual language. While exploring the archive

in Treviso, the team encountered several early-nineties graphics and immediately connected with them. They

chose to reinterpret Diadora’s iconic Light Your Fire artwork and place it on a white T-shirt for the capsule.

Diadora has a long history of making athletic pieces shaped by performance needs. Beyond the graphic items,

this project acknowledges that heritage as well. The running long sleeve reflects an appreciation for functional

design that remains easy to wear every day."
