The 9060 represents a new expression of the refined style and innovative design that have made the 99X series the protagonist of some of the most iconic models in New Balance's history. The 9060 reinterprets familiar elements of the classic 99X models with a visionary sensibility, inspired by the fiercely futuristic, tech-forward aesthetic of the 2000s. Sway bars, borrowed from the 990, have been expanded and used throughout the upper to convey a sense of visible motion, while wavy lines and scaled proportions on the sculpted midsole place exaggerated emphasis on the familiar ABZORB and SBS cushioning platforms.
