Sneakers76 has always celebrated its territory in all its collaborations. This time the main characters were the Cheradi Islands, a small archipelago in front of the city of Taranto. Two islands, San Paolo and San Pietro, with a unique history that represent an opportunity for the future of the territory and that Sneakers76 wants to make know to the world through this collaboration.
These sneakers have all the features of Le Coq Sportif's footwear know-how: premium materials, bright colours and comfortable fit. These are the hallmarks of this R800.
The inspiration for the colours comes from a photo of the two islands: the shades of blue represent the colours of the sea surrounding them, those of beige and pink draw their inspiration from the sand, while bordeaux and the leather’s color are a referred to the houses standing on the two islands.
The Toe Box, tongue and part of the quarter are made of premium micro-perforated suede for the mid guard, as well as Tip and Eye stays. Double Foxing is made of premium leather and a comfortable fit is ensured by the micro fibre used for the Collar lining and insole.
The flat white lace is made of natural cotton and there is also an extra pink and white pattern.
The famous French Rooster is embroidered on the quarter, while on the tongue of both shoes there is a logo combining Sneakers76 and Le Coq Sportif. The logo gives the name to each of the two shoes: St Paul for the right and St Peter for the left.
The packaging, with great attention to details, is a tribute to all travellers: indeed, the box is inspired by an old suitcase. Inside you can find a kit of stickers to apply to the suitcase and a small logbook.
