Marking the beginning of a new path for STAN SMITH, adidas Originals employs one of its longest-lasting and most successful silhouettes to create a more sustainable future. While the look remains the same, the STAN SMITH SS21 models will become an experimental canvas of adidas' journey in support of the End Plastic Waste project. The first two sneakers to be released are made up of white PRIMEGREEN uppers, a series of high-performance recycled materials, placed on white recycled rubber soles. A more fashion version then features a printed graphic inspired by the planet earth, a white tongue on the heel and an ivory graphic on the front tongue.

One model is inspired by one of the most beloved frogs, Kermit of the Muppets, who transformed the famous three stripes into a playful perforated "K", while the name Kermit is embossed on the heel and his image is printed on the left tongue and on the insole. co-branded interior. For an extra touch, an additional pair of green laces and the phrase "It's Not Easy Being Green”. With a focus entirely on sustainability, each pair of sneakers in the collection is packaged in adidas Originals' classic blue box, already updated to be made up of over 90% recycled paper.
